Overcoming business challenges and still feel successful with EFT Tapping

Difficult roads lead to beautiful destinations

Have you ever felt like you’re doing all the work, but the results just aren’t showing up yet?

You’re not alone. Many entrepreneurs put in the time, energy, and effort, only to find themselves wondering: What am I doing wrong?

In my latest episode of Tapping into Emotional Freedom, I had the pleasure of talking with Precious- an emotional empowerment specialist for women over 40- who’s been facing some challenges in her business. Like so many entrepreneurs, she’s been dealing with marketing, selling, and, of course, finances. It’s that uncertainty we all know too well: Am I really capable of building the success I want?

Precious was incredibly open during our session. She’s spent so much time and energy trying to connect with clients and offer genuine value, yet the money? Not reflecting all that effort. She’s been struggling to monetize her talents in a way that feels sustainable, and that kind of dissonance can feel heavy, sounds familiar?

Digging into What’s Really Going On

As we unpacked her story, it became clear that these challenges weren’t just happening in her mind- they were also showing up physically. Precious described feeling real tension in her body, a direct reflection of the emotional load she’s been carrying. And this is so common. When you’ve poured your heart into your business, working for long hours, strategizing, and still not seeing the financial return- it wears on you, not just emotionally, but physically too.

So, we asked the big questions: Why haven’t the earnings increased? Why aren’t more clients coming in? Is it something about how she’s marketing herself? Or is there something deeper- like not fully owning her expertise, or feeling uncomfortable stepping into that expert role?

Opening the Door to Compassion

Here’s where we shifted gears. Instead of focusing on what wasn’t working, we tapped into a more compassionate and understanding part of Precious. We acknowledged where she is right now because this is not about disregarding what she is feeling, but giving ourselves permission to acknowledge all parts of us involved in this journey. Sometimes, we get so caught up in chasing what’s next that we forget to pat ourselves on the back for the progress we’ve already made. And honestly, we forget to pause and recognize how far we’ve come. When we turn into a more compassionate side we can ignite the fuel that keeps us going.

Precious had been through a lot- she spent a year away from her family, returned to rebuild her business, and dealt with some unexpected life transitions. These aren’t small things. And sometimes, when life hits us hard, our business can take the blow too. But the magic happens when we stop to recognize that these setbacks don’t mean failure- they mean we’re human.

Tapping into Possibility

By the end of our session, Precious started to see things differently. The doubts and financial worries she’s been carrying? They’re real, but they’re not forever. We worked on shifting her mindset- from frustration to possibility. Tapping helped release some of the tension she was holding onto, and though the road to success might still be winding, she left with a renewed sense of purpose and confidence that she’s on the right path.

The Takeaway

Precious’s story is one we can all relate to: feeling stuck, doubting ourselves, wondering if all this work is ever going to pay off. But here’s the thing- these doubts are just part of the journey, not the final destination. When we take a moment to acknowledge where we are, celebrate our wins (big or small!), and lean into the parts of us that are strong and compassionate, we can keep moving forward, step by step, and build the business we’ve been dreaming of.

If you’re feeling stuck or unsure about your next move, tapping into your own strength might just be what you need. Let’s explore it together- because you’ve got this, and your success is closer than you think.

With love and gratitude,

Elisa
