Juggling the Demands of Being a Business Owner- Releasing the Tension using EFT Tapping
Do you ever feel like the stress of running a business is physically weighing you down?
The constant demands, decisions, and deadlines can feel like an invisible burden seeping into your shoulders, neck, and entire body.
What if you could release that tension in just a few minutes and breathe easier?
The physical toll of stress is a reality for many of us.
Running a business involves juggling multiple roles, long hours, and the pressure to succeed.
This stress often manifests physically, leading to tension and discomfort that can impact your health, productivity, and decision-making. It's crucial to address these physical sensations to maintain well-being and professional success.
EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) or also know as Tapping is a powerful technique for releasing emotional and physical tension quickly and effectively. In just a few minutes, you can experience significant relief from the physical symptoms of stress, allowing you to regain control and focus.
Research has shown that EFT Tapping can help reduce stress and anxiety by altering the brain's response to stressors.
This technique, often referred to as "emotional acupuncture," involves tapping on specific points on the body while focusing on the issue at hand, leading to a calming effect on the nervous system.
On the first episode of my new podcast “Tapping into Emotional Freedom”, Naz joined me to explore how stress manifests physically for her. Naz reported feeling significant pressure in her shoulders, back and around her eyes, which she rated as a 7 out of 10.
After the first rounds of tapping, Naz felt tingling in her jaw and noticed improvement in her physical sensations.
Deeper Progress: As we continued, the pressure around her eyes vanished, and shoulder tension decreased from a 7 to a 5. Naz felt more relaxed, even wanting to rest and keep her eyes closed during the rest of the session

But this doesn’t stop here. When we do this deeper work, these are some of the aspects I would focus on:
Limiting thoughts and emotions related to the pain and discomfort
When you think of your issue what emotions arise? If this wasn’t resolved what would be the worst that would happen?
Think of recent and past events you experienced around this pain and discomfort
When was a recent time when you struggle with this pain? What does your physical issue force you or prevent you to do? Have you had any negative experience with the medical system?
Hidden messages
If your physical issue had a message for you, what would it be? How has this issue shifted your identity?
Take some time and journal about these questions while you practice EFT Tapping.
Sending you love and wellness.
